here is a short tutorial for vegas i put together. very simple use, i didnt go into advanced stuff. just the basics to get ya started and on your way to editing. Iscrewed up the volume level while recording it so you might need to jack the volume up. later on if any one wants ill do an intermediate-advanced video.

what is the exact error your getting when installing it? vegas requires some sp1 files and if yours are corrupt that would do it for ya

do to the fact that i've installed the registered versoin of Fraps i might have to start over on my video...

the registered or unregistered version you have installed?


because if you try to install a registered version on top of an unregistered version you will fry your both installs and completely disable frps.. only way to install the reg version is to completely remove the unreg version not only from add/remove programs but you will need to hunt it down in your registry and kill it there also

i have the Registered versoin you posted. plus the Video and sound will be unsynced when i play back the clip.

dam i dwon loaded fraps from here and the i try to open it and nothing happens i try opening it with the inter net am i doing something wrong????????????????? IT WILL NOT WORK I DELETED MY OLD FRAPS EVERYTHING AND I TRYED TO OPEN IT WITH THE INTERNET NOTHING HAPPENS I CLICK ON IT TO OPEN NOTHING I THINK THE FILE IS CURUPTED!!!!!!!!

no the file is not corrupted. as I explained to you earlier if you HAVE the UNREGISTERED VERSION already DO NOT install the registered version. You need to clean your registry of all fraps UNREGISTERED related files first before you install the REGISTERED VERSION. All of my software that I submitt works perfectly. Not my problem if you dont understand them. But I did say you cannot install a registered version on top of an unregistered version.





Had the same problem. I corrected the problem by having all of my fraps recordings saved to another drive. C:// drive is already working overtime by just playing bf2 and running fraps. saving it to one of my slave drives fixed all my issues i had with fraps
