Well guys............

I have had some sort of major hardware failure last night.
I will be starting from almost scratch.

I currently can salvage........

Power supply
Nvidia 8800GT video card
A just purchased seagate SATA-2 500 GB hard drive.
Sony 16x DVD-RW drive

I am looking, I think to go Intel this time, last 3 builds have been AMD.
Not too sure about their latest offerings.

Looking for some advice.............

I know core duo or quad, I have heard the Q6600 is the best bang for the buck, right now.

Any suggestions on a motherboard. I favor MSI and ASUS.
Memory and a new case.

Will more that likely head over to my local Tiger Direct this weekend.

Currently using a laptop.
