Bah, that ain't such a bad setup. I have yet to see reason enough to switch to PCI-E, other than it's new and shiny. Every game I own or want to own will run on my system, so I'm not shelling out the cash. I just got a new vid card (GF 6600 256mb AGP), and I'd like to upgrade my CPU a bit over the next little while. I'm still running 1GB of 400mhz DDR, as well.

agp? no thankyou. you couldnt pay me to go back to agp. i love my dual pci-e 7800gt's. nothing like getting over 200 fps in bf2. and the recording quality i get with fraps...there is just no turning back. pci-e is not just the new shiny thing, its the future. lol

Close to the system I just put together.

I went FX60 with Asus A8N Prem and only 1 7900GTX. When the DX10 Vid cards come out I will sell the 7900GTX and go with 2 DX10 vid cards.

The OCZ memory is sweet. I dont OC anything because there is no need ATM.

I just did the upgrade to my mem on my Mac, it now has 8MB of ram!

Its pretty much the next gen in graphics. Should be out in Dec or Jan.


All DX9 video cards will be able to run DX10 games but you wont see all the new toys DX10 has to offer.
