ok what processor and Mother board do you all recomend I going to spend most likly 1 grand in new preocessor mb and 4 gig memory, any ideas.
if so why that MB or processor?

if u have the money buy a Pentium Q6600
and for the memory Hyper X Kingston 2 x 2048 DDR 3
mother board like Asus

well i ended up funny you said asus board because thats what I got :
Q6700 intel processor, asus P5KC MB coursair extrem memory 4 gig in 2 gig moduals, so far its fast as hell going to load BF2 tomarow.
so far even with out over clocked seems fast and stable .

I just purchased a compaq desktop for $850 with amd athlon 64x2 proccesor 250 gigs and 2.0 ram o/s Vista premium

I got a 8800 GT a few weeks ago and LOVE IT!
