I'm looking to drop some $ on a card for an up coming LAN party and need to decide on what card to get.

What is everyones ideas?


Per Tom's Hardware:
Best PCI-E Card For ~$125: Tie :: Radeon X1950 PRO || GeForce 7900 GS
Best PCI-E Card For ~$200: Radeon X1950 XT
Best PCI-E Card For ~$280: GeForce 8800 GTS (320MB version)

What CPU are you using? And how much are you willing to spend?

Intel® Core™2 Duo processor E6400 2.13 GHz 2 MB L2 cache 1066 MHz front side bus

I was thinking about spending 200-250 at the most.

I would go with the 8800 GTS, but I have always been and Nvidia fan.
